Hello, Beasty. {Birthday}

Disney's recent movie, "Maleficent" combines a few of my sister's favorite things: Maleficent, Angelina Jolie, and Lana Del Rey. So for her birthday, the movie is what we looked to for inspiration. It was a small family gathering, but it came together quite nicely, and everyone had a good time.

Little Prince {Baby Shower}

This baby shower was for our own little man. He must've been jealous of all the fun we had, because he surprised us with an early arrival, just a few days after the shower! Here are just a few snapshots of the day.

These crowns were the cutest. And when they were all hanging from the ceiling, it made for an awesome sight.

Cute as a Button {Baby Shower}

My mom, sisters, and I helped throw a baby shower for the baby of our family. She picked the theme "Cute as a Button," and we ran with it. There were buttons in the centerpieces, the photo backdrop, the hanging garland, and even in bracelets that were tied around packages of button sugar cookies that served as favors. Buttons were everywhere!

Congratulations Zinnia and Sifa! Can't wait to meet Little One #3!

Smackerels of Hunny {Birthday}

Our little Winnie the Pooh lover turned the big T-W-O this year! We celebrated with a few family and friends, and plenty of DIY. The beehive piñatas were definitely a labor of love between my parents and myself, and I love how they turned out! A garland from Little Honey Beez brought the table together and our birthday girl looked stylish in a flower headband made by her Aunt Alyssa. Grandma's homemade granola in the yogurt parfaits was also a big hit. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make it a special day!

Bon Anniversaire! {Birthday}

It is unbelievable how fast time has flown by. Our baby girl is a year old now! I wanted to do something small to celebrate with a few family and friends from my side, so I went with an afternoon of desserts and a little Parisian decor. 

I didn't want to be too stressed with making all the desserts, so the cake and cupcakes were made by our friend, Yandery, who is a culinary student. Beautiful work!

I love how her handmade Honeybeez bow turned out. Thanks Auntie Z!

A big thank you to everyone who helped, and to everyone who came to celebrate with us. And happy birthday to our not-so-little peanut. We love you so much and are immensely grateful to have you in our lives.
